A beginner course as an introduction to surfing. The lesson includes stretching exercises, learning the board, reading ocean conditions, catching waves, the jump-up, accelerating and safely stopping. Includes hotel transfers, use of school surfboard, helmet and rash shirt, Rip Curl Certificate of Surfing, sunscreen and bottled water.

Two essential courses for those who want to get to grips with the basics of surfing. In Classes 2 and 3, we teach you paddling techniques, paddling out, through and over waves, board control, making forehand and backhand turns, paddling on to waves and an introduction to the knowledge of wave mechanics.
