Sanur is located just a twenty minute drive from Bali international airport Ngurah Rai. It can be reached within 30 minutes from Kuta.

The main centre for shopping in Sanur is around jalan Danau Tamblingan street which has similar atmosphere as Kuta area. Sanur is also a developing tourist area with lots of hotels, shops, restaurants and other tourist facilities.

However Sanur is less crowded than Kuta. In Kuta you can see sunset but in Sanur you can see sunrise.
